Dr. Oevermann is a Therapeutic Optometrist and is classically trained in the art of prescribing glasses and contact lenses with extra studies devoted to disease detection and treatment.  Dr. Oevermann can prescribe topical antibiotics, oral antibiotics and steroids for a wide variety of eye diseases and infections. 

While in his last year of optometry school, Dr. Oevermann completed an extensive externship in Pediadtric Optometry.  Immediately after graduation, he spent two years working and studying extensively with an ophthalmologist diagnosing and treating pathological cases.

On a personal level, Dr. Oevermann is a native Houstonian and currently resides in Cypress, Texas with his wife and four children.

   Jacqueline - Optometric Technician

As our optometric technician, Jacqueline performs a variety of tasks to assist Dr. Oevermann in eye evaluations and examinations.  Jacqueline records patient medical histories and any vision concerns.  She also helps prepare the patient for the vision examination.  As part of the preparation for the eye exam, she may perform some of the following pre-testing:  visual acuity, color vision, depth perception, pupil reflexes, visual field testing, fundus photography and pressures inside the eye.  Jacqueline also assists Dr. Oevermann with contact lens evaluations and patient training.

  Elijah - Optician & Lab Assistant

As our optician, Elijah is up-to-date on the latest in eyewear and can help our patients with selecting a frame designed to meet their needs.  Additionally, as our lab assistant, Elijah will ensure that your glasses are made timely and accurately.  Elijah also assists in patient scheduling and follow-up frame care. 

   Pamela - Marketing Manager

As our marketing manager, Pamela is responsible for community awareness, marketing efforts, and assisting with patient relations.  She also helps to schedule patient appointments and assist with insurance verifications and claims submissions.  Pamela graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas with a BBA in management and a minor in marketing.  She also has an MBA from Texas A&M University.

 
  Bobbi - Front Office Coordinator

As our front office coordinator and insurance specialist, Bobbi assists our patients in confirming insurance coverage prior to appointments. She is responsible for greeting our patients and assisting them with preliminary information prior to the patient being seen by Dr. Oevermann. Bobbi has earned a Medical Billing Office Administration diploma.  She is well versed in insurance guidelines, medical terminology and medical and insurance coding. Bobbi also helps to schedule patient appointments, follow-up appointments and maintains patient files.
